About Louisiana Integrated Services and Prevention Meeting (LIPS)
Louisiana Integrated Services and Prevention Meeting (LIPS), hosted by The Office of Public Health STD/HIV Program (SHP), addresses the need to break down silos and ground ourselves in a myriad of issues impacting holistic health in order to provide high quality services for Louisiana citizens and effectively address the HIV, STD, and Hepatitis epidemics in our state.
About 300 individuals from across Louisiana are expected to attend, representing organizations who receive funding from or partner with SHP to conduct HIV, STD, and Hepatitis C testing, provide PrEP related services, and provide medical and non-medical case management and support services to persons living with HIV. This meeting will also welcome community members and advocates without whom our work would not be successful. In honor of our theme this year “Re-imagining Community Health” we are coming together to share ideas, build stronger community, and educate one another on the current healthcare landscape.

This meeting is a collaboration between community-based organizations (CBOs), Health Departments (HDs), National Organizations and Universities. The deadline for registration was August 30th, 2019.
